Ruralco Holdings Limited (RHL) provides rural merchandising, real estate, wool & livestock agency services, financial services, and stock feed and grain services.

The Company has more than 20 brands including 400 members trading under the CRT (Combined Rural Traders) and Town & Country banners, the Roberts group of companies, and joint-venture operations in every state.

MERCHANDISE

Rural products and services form the core business for the Ruralco Group. The division is structured through a membership network under the CRT and Town & Country brands. CRT is the largest independent rural merchandising group in Australia with more than 300 members. Town & Country has more than 60 members is its main focus is as a buying group for semi-rural, small farm operations. Rural merchandise includes products such as chemicals, fertilisers, fencing, animal health and feed, water equipment, small machinery, parts, servicing and repairs, clothing and general hardware. Rural Merchandise also includes the operations of Grow Force, Tasmania Farm Equipment, and the Rural Merchandise operations of Rodwells, Rawlinson & Brown, and Roberts companies.

REAL ESTATE

Real Estate forms a significant contribution to the Ruralco business with major operations in Tasmania under Roberts, in Victoria with Pat Rice Hawkins and Rodwells, in Western Australia with Rural & Metro Realty, and through the CRT member network. This division will expand through the development of a national rural and residential real estate brand and through development of real estate businesses in rural and regional areas both within the Ruralco Group and through joint venture or acquisition.

WOOL AND LIVESTOCK

Through the merger with Roberts, Ruralco has significant wool and livestock interests with stock and station agency operations in every state.

FINANCIAL SERVICES

New products and services will be offered by the Group building on the experience brought to Ruralco through the merger with Roberts which has an established financial services businesses that is closely aligned with operations conducted in Rural Merchandise, Wool, Livestock and Stock Feed and Grain.

STOCK FEED AND GRAIN

Ruralco has a stock feed mill and a grain handling operation in Tasmania. The Monds & Affleck stock feed mill manufacturers bulk and bagged formulated feed products for commercial and domestic operations. The grain handling, storage and distribution company, Tasmanian Grain Elevators is a recent acquisition and has substantial grain storage facilities and the only bulk-ship handling facility in Tasmania.
